About my journey 

I started my career as an application developer. My first real-world application was to create a system to automate the backups on an IBM System /38. I have been passionate about creating applications that are easy to use and solve real-world problems.  

After a layoff, I started StoneRidge Corporation, a consulting company, with a partner who worked on hardware and networks, while I worked on database applications and websites. We had a great network of professionals that we could refer and would refer work to us.  I was involved in all phases of the projects, from requirements gathering to system design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement.  Most of these customer engagements continued for years and a few for decades.  

I have refocused my training and work in the areas of UX Design and Business Consulting on Odoo ERP System.  I feel the UX Design training has given me a deeper understanding, new tools, and new perspective on the overall development processes for creating world class solutions.
